Benign Tumors

Benign tumors are typically (but not always) harmless unlike Malignant tumors. Benign tumors typically do not grow in size and can be very common.

What causes benign tumors?

All types of tumors are just abnormal growth of cells in your body.Benign tumors serve no purpose and typically are not a cause for alarm. They can also be described as a cyst, lump, swelling or inflamation.

Overall these tumors area the 'good kind' of tumors, unlike cancerous malignant tumors.
