OSHA: Faulty equipment caused circus accident

Specifically, the agency ruled that too much weight was placed on a carabiner, and the workers who installed the equipment failed to follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Feld Entertainment, operating as Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, was fined $7,000 for safety violations.
